Interim regional director of NEXXT ICT

Cause

NEXXT ICT, a leading Microsoft Partner with five locations and approximately 200 employees, was created through the acquisition of Camerate ICT, Conosensa and ICT Partners. This acquisition created a new, stronger company with a strong local presence in five regions. A regional director for North Holland was sought, and there was a need for an integrated, national approach within NEXXT.

 

Analysis

During the first phase, an extensive analysis was carried out, with interviews with both employees and customers from the region and representatives from other locations. The IT and staff departments had already been integrated, creating a stable foundation. After this, it was essential to further strengthen and optimize the organization for future success.

 

Strategy

The analysis resulted in a strategy, with a detailed plan and priorities such as shaping an overarching vision for NEXXT, a strong "Go-to-Market" strategy, and transparent, unambiguous communication from one NEXXT. The importance of maintaining local control and implementing best practices from different locations was also emphasized.

 

Implementation

During the implementation, employees were actively involved, resulting in a broadly supported vision focused on the Microsoft ecosystem. The collaboration between (pre)sales, marketing, recruitment and HR was further strengthened, leading to improved internal coordination and more focus on the market.

 

Satisfaction

The evaluation of the first results showed that much went well, but also room for further optimization. The collaboration between the branches and partners was strengthened, successful initiatives were scaled up, processes were optimized and the market position strengthened. New talent was attracted, and targeted organizational adjustments were implemented. In order to better share best practices, it was decided to manage the organization more centrally, while maintaining the local culture and presence.

 

Growth

With a sharper focus, NEXXT was increasingly able to position itself as a recognizable player in the market. Larger projects with interesting activities for the employees were created, which contributed to a higher employee retention. Central planning provided better insight into the knowledge and wishes of the employees and the occupation. With the new organizational structure, NEXXT has taken the next step for the future.
